Robert K Ryan Jr.-
|
|
Robert Kent Ryan, Jr. born in Frankfort, Indiana on June 23, 1943, was
educated in the Frankfort, Indiana school system before attending Indiana University and
the Indiana University School of Law from which he graduated in 1965 and 1968,
respectively. Following law school, Mr. Ryan served in the United States Marine Corps
being stationed in California and Okinawa. Following his military service, Mr. Ryan
returned to Frankfort, Indiana and joined his father's law firm, then known as Ryan &
Hartzell. Mr. Ryan has served as city attorney, president of the Frankfort Country Club,
President of the Clinton County Chamber of Commerce, and Chairman
of the Clinton County Community Foundation. Mr. Ryan enjoys practice in estate planning,
taxation, corporations, trusts, probate and agricultural law, and serves as counsel to and
director of The Farmers Bank, Frankfort, Indiana. Mr. Ryan is a member of the Clinton

James D. Moore-
|
James D. Moore was born in Danville, Illinois on June 3, 1952 and was raised in
Greencastle, Indiana. Mr. Moore graduated from DePauw University in 1974 with high honors.
While attending Indiana University School of Law, Mr. Moore was the assistant Articles
Editor for the Indiana Law Journal and was selected for membership to the Order of the Coif
because of his excellent academic achievement. Mr. Moore was an associate at the law firm
of Barnes Hickam Pantzer & Boyd until he joined the law firm of Ryan Hartzell &
Ryan in 1981 and became a partner January 1, 1983.
Mr. Moore primarily represents businesses and individuals in regard to real estate and
commercial loan transactions, property tax abatement, creditor's rights and other commercial
and business matters. Mr. Moore presently serves as counsel to the Clinton County Area Plan
Commission and Board of Zoning Appeals. Mr. Moore was a seminar panel member on the topic of
Commercial Real Estate Financing in Indiana, speaking on the topics of Loan Agreements and
issues in Commercial Construction Financing. Mr. Moore is the president of the Clinton County
Election Board, past president and member of the Board of Directors of the St. Vincent Frankfort
Hospital Foundation, past president of the Frankfort Kiwanis Club, was a founding board member
of Frankfort Main Street and is a director of Frankfort Youth Football League. Mr. Moore's
professional associations include the Clinton County, Indiana State and American Bar Associations.

Kathryn J. Cook-
|
|
Kathryn Cook was born December 23, 1951 in St. Louis, Missouri. She
graduated cum laude from Anderson College in 1973 and received her Master's degree from
Butler University in 1975. After teaching for ten years, Mrs. Cook pursued her law degree
at Indiana University, where she was an associate editor of the Indiana Law Review,
graduating magna cum laude in 1985. She was admitted to practice law in Indiana in January
1986, and she is certified as an Indiana Estate Planning and Administration Specialist. Mrs. Cook's primary areas of practice include estate planning and administration,
real estate, education law, and taxation-related matters. Mrs. Cook was a Clinton County deputy
prosecutor from 1988 to 1996. She presently serves as counsel to the Frankfort Community Schools,
the Rossville Consolidated School
district, and Cicero Christian Church. Her community involvements have included membership on
the boards of directors for United Way for Clinton County, Zonta Club of Frankfort, the Clinton
County Economic Advancement Foundation and the Salvation Army advisory board.

John D. Shoup-
|
John Shoup was born in Frankfort, Indiana on July 5, 1968. He graduated from Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana in 1991 earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing. Mr. Shoup earned his law degree from The Drake University Law School in Des Moines, Iowa in 1997. Following Law School, John was a partner in and Corporate Counsel to Premier Pork Systems, LLC, a national swine genetics company, and Premier Custom Builders, LLC, a custom home builder.
Mr. Shoup was admitted to the Indiana Bar in June of 1997, and is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts of Northern and Southern Indiana. He is a member of the Indiana State Bar Association, and current President of the Clinton County Bar Association, and a member of the Board of Directors of the Clinton County Community Foundation and Clinton County United Way. Mr. Shoup practices in the areas of real estate, estate planning, commercial law, construction law, agricultural law and tax practice of the firm.
