In politics, America is blessed with a healthy two party system.
One political party favors more capitalism, defends the lifestyles of the moral and sympathizes with the law-abiding.  The other political party favors more socialism, defends the lifestyles of the immoral and sympathizes with the lawless.

Our two opposing parties are like two opposing attorneys.  As Americans, we believe that even the most immoral and lawless deserve an attorney to represent them.  That is the beauty of the American two party political system.

The astonishing thing is that so many well intentioned good and law-abiding people want to be represented by the same party as the immoral, the lawless, and their many apologists and sympathizers; simply because the party favors more socialism and promises to take care of some people at other peoples’ expense by the threat of force or the actual use of force to rob others of their earnings.

There is a political philosophy held by the politicians of one of America’s two major political parties, which desires to see more and more of the American people just as dependent on the government as diaper filling babies.  At the same time, it seems that more and more Americans want to be just as dependent on the government as diaper filling babies.  Therefore there is a perfect match with that political party and those particular people.

Which political party, the Republicans or the Democrats, benefits the most by having fewer wealthy people and more poor people in America?  One of the parties grows stronger in power by making more people feel helpless, dependent on government for their daily bread, and envious of those who are self-reliant and independent.  That same party grows weaker as more and more people become self-reliant and independent.
One of the parties grows stronger in power by making immoral and shameless people proud of their social attitudes.  One of the parties shows its compassion for those who break the law, by creating a criminal judicial system which is less feared by the law-breakers and more despised by the law-abiding, morally upright, and taxpaying citizens of America.

Which political party benefits by having more poor people dependent on government?

Never expect too much from the natural men and women of the left.  After all, they are just a collection of pagans, hedonists and socialists.  Their values are progressive and relative.  "DO WHAT THOU WILT" is the whole of their law.

    Naive Fools,
        Insecure Paternalists,
           Socially Permissive Liberals,
                Envious Egalitarians,
                   Atheistic Secular Humanists,
                        Utopian Socialists,
                            & Rebellious Revolutionaries.
