2003 Radium 228 Testing
Radionuclides are natural occuring (usually) substances, that are of concern, and are checked on a routine basis by the State. Again, we tested at both our treatment plants, our plant on McKinley Avenue is EP#1, and 260 E. Washington St. is EP#2.

Quoting from the letter we received from IDEM concerning these tests - "Method IN-904.0 was used for the analysis. Since your results did not exceed the action limit of 5 pCi/l for Radium 228 activity during 2003, your system has fulfilled the necessary Radium 228 monitoring requirements for the January 1 to December 31, 2003 compliance period. This letter serves as your copy of the results for your system. "
These tests were submitted to IDEM (Indiana Department of Environmental Management) on March 18, 2003. The results were returned to us on June 28, 2004.
